AT&T Wireless
Quantum performed customer service, activations, billing and collections for newly acquired markets until such a time as AT&T could conveniently merge these functions into its ongoing operations. In addition, Quantum provided switch-based prepaid wireless, including multi-lingual customer care for AT&T Wireless’s Western Region.

Cellular One Group
Quantum was retained to create and develop a private label Internet services program that could be marketed to their 20+ million wireless subscribers by their franchises. This program is called “Internet By Cellular One.” Quantum’s president/CEO sat on the initial Cellular One Group advisory board for two years.

BellSouth Mobility
Quantum performed customer service, activations, billing and collections for newly acquired markets until such time as BellSouth Mobility could conveniently merge these functions into its ongoing operations.

MCI Telecommunications
Quantum’s Information & Research Group conducted a feasibility study on acquisition opportunities of rural cellular markets for MCI as they evaluated various methods of entering the wireless telephony marketplace.

Western Wireless
Quantum performed customer service, activations, billing and collections for newly acquired markets until such time as Western Wireless could conveniently merge these functions into its ongoing operations. Quantum’s president/CEO also served as a director for several years during the company’s start-up phases until they made a public offering.

Cellular One of Baton Rouge
Quantum customized the “Internet By Cellular One” program and provided a private label help desk for Cellular One of Baton Rouge. In addition, Quantum provided marketing support and billing programming as it related to bundling “Internet By Cellular One” with its wireless services monthly invoice.

United States Cellular
Quantum performed customer service, activations, billing and collections for newly acquired markets until such time as United States Cellular could conveniently merge these functions into its ongoing operations.

Choice Wireless, LC (PCS)
Choice is the licensee of four PCS BTAs in southern Oklahoma and northern Texas. Quantum was retained for the turnkey project of business planning, system design and construction, marketing and ongoing day to day operations. Quantum’s innovative management and marketing efforts were critical in competing with several national wireless carriers sharing the same markets.

Spectracom (PCS)
Quantum created a PCS business and financial plan to successfully assist in securing funding for the buildout and operation of Spectracom’s three Wyoming BTAs. The project also included a market assessment module, which included questionnaire design and data tabulation. Quantum was also responsible for developing the company’s branding strategy, positioning and creative marketing strategy for the successful launch of several markets.

Telephone Service Company (PCS)
Quantum conducted a market assessment of the Lima, Ohio BTA (256,000 pops) which included an industry and competitive analysis, focus group design and implementation, and an in-depth market survey of 400 respondents. The study was conducted to assist TSC in determining the optimum combination of PCS services to maximize penetration in the Lima, Ohio market, while considering customer mix, attitudes, pricing, competition and market access.

WirelessNorth (PCS)
WirelessNorth retained Quantum to provide them with a turnkey solution for a branded accessory eStore website. Quantum provided them with a fully operational website with more than 4,000 wireless accessories without the hassle of purchasing, warehousing and fulfillment.

AirNet Communications Corporation (PCS)
Quantum was retained by this wireless infrastructure manufacturer on behalf of their client to conduct market specific research and develop a comprehensive PCS business plan for the operation of this market while securing financing for the venture.

Centennial Cellular
Quantum performed customer service, activations, billing and collections for newly acquired markets until such time as Centennial could conveniently merge these functions into its ongoing operations.

McElroy Electronics Corporation
Quantum provided consulting and project management services, including site acquisition (search ring optimization, lease negotiations, zoning regulations and hearing attendance); site development (survey, soil sampling, and construction management), and made interconnection recommendations. Quantum was awarded the major modification project for the network expansion in the Twin Cities MSA until it was sold to Hickory Tech for twice the amount expected.

California Cellular Corporation
Quantum Communications Group was brought in to assist with technical and market management after the previous management firm failed. Quantum’s innovative management and marketing efforts in this CA 2 RSA were critical in meeting financing covenants and, eventually, in selling this market to United States Cellular. The project included technical support and maintenance of the cellular system, as well as day-to-day operations of the market.

Celltel Systems, Inc.
This client was the cellular licensee of Minnesota 1 & 2 RSAs. Quantum was retained for the turnkey project of business planning, securing financing, system design and construction, marketing and day to day operations. Quantum’s innovative management and marketing efforts were critical in building value and enabled the eventual sale of these markets to Pacific Northwest Cellular (now Western Wireless).

Mega-Tel Cellular
This client was the cellular licensee of the Wisconsin 4 RSA. Quantum was retained for the turnkey project of business planning, securing financing, system design and construction, marketing and day to day operations. Quantum’s innovative management and marketing efforts were critical in building value and enabled the eventual sale of this market to BellSouth Mobility.

Flathead Valley Cellular Telephone Co.
This client was the cellular licensee of the Montana 1 RSA. Quantum was retained for the turnkey project of business planning, securing financing, system design and construction, marketing and day to day operations. Quantum’s innovative management and marketing efforts were critical in building value and the enabled eventual sale of this market to Pacific Northwest Cellular (now Western Wireless).

Ottertail Cellular Telephone Company
This client was the cellular licensee of the Minnesota 5 RSA. Quantum was retained for the turnkey project of business planning, securing financing, system design and construction, marketing and day to day operations. Quantum’s innovative management and marketing efforts were critical in building value and enabled the eventual sale of this market Pacific Northwest Cellular (now Western Wireless).

This client was the cellular licensee of the Wisconsin 8 RSA.
